<p>He graduated from ITU in 1987 as a Civil Engineer. Between 1987 and 2007, he took part in different construction projects as a middle and senior manager at Koç Group, Alarko and Maya İnşaat. He has been working on management consultancy, project management training and human resources services with his own consultancy firm since 2007. From 1987 to 1997, Zekeriyaköy Project, which consists of more than 800 villas belonging to the Koç Group, offers different services for site management, from field engineering to assistant project manager. held positions.</p><p>While working at Alarko, he took part in the establishment of the control and evaluation department, which provides technical supervision of projects through the holding. In this process, he identified the points that cause time, cost and quality losses in many different construction projects and produced many action plans for their solution. And he ensured the implementation of these plans at the construction sites. In 2007, he founded 1inşaat Danışmanlık, which provides human resources, training and management consultancy services for the building sector. He continues to provide consultancy to many construction companies, mainly from the contracting sector, on training and human resources issues.<br></p><p>Between 2004 and 2012, he served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Istanbul Branch of the Chamber of Civil Engineers and as a Member of the Editorial Board in the Istanbul Bulletin, the publication of the chamber. Between 2014-2018, he gave "Construction Management" courses to graduate students at Beykent University, Institute of Science and Technology. In addition, he continues to provide "Project Management" and "Career Management" trainings to many universities, professional chambers, non-governmental organizations and companies. With over 1000 participants, the Construction Site Management training published on Udemy is the construction industry's most widely attended virtual classroom.<br></p><p>Videos aiming to answer the questions of the construction sector and civil engineering are broadcast on the Youtube channel "2 Engineers", which has over 7500 followers. Since March 2020, he has prepared the weekly "Project Management with Cem Kafadar" program on the Business Channel TV channel.
