Event Content: Robotic applications became very popular amongst the construction industry. We will host two guests to explain their innovation case regarding the robotic applications.
Our first guest, Innovation Department of the Turner Construction Company (NYC, US), will showcase their newest innovative application “SPOT”. Spot is an advanced mobility robot that can safely traverse construction sites carrying customized technological integrations. Spot aims to conduct routine site walks and automate tasks like site laser scanning and progress monitoring. It will enable the construciton team to efficiently track construction progress, conduct rapid QA/QC checks, and update as-built BIM models to provide clients with true digital twins of their facilities at turnover.
Our second guest, Towercraft (Turkey), is an innovative Project supported by TUBITAK. Towercraft is a smart cleaning robot that specially designed to clean the facades of high rise buildings. The conventional methods for facade cleaning are time consuming and high expensive. Towercraft aims to automate the cleaning process as well as recording the relevant data.
