Join us on 23 September for BIM Coffee Talks Ankara!
As part of our BIM Coffee Talks event series, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Ayhan Akray for a discussion on digital design processes in infrastructure and bridge engineering.
Ayhan Akray is a bridge design engineer with more than 10 years of experience, specialising in highway and railway structures. His professional experience includes the design of various bridge systems, including arch bridges, balanced cantilever bridges, prestressed precast I-girder bridges, and post-tensioned cast-in-situ bridges.
He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, with a specialisation in Earthquake Engineering. He has strong expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), BIM-based design processes, and digital engineering tools. In addition, he combines his software development skills with engineering workflows to improve project automation, interdisciplinary coordination, and overall process efficiency.
He currently serves as a Technical Consultant specialising in bridge engineering at the ALLPLAN Center of Excellence for Infrastructure.
During this edition of BIM Coffee Talks, we will discuss with Ayhan Akray the application of BIM in bridge and infrastructure projects, parametric and digital design approaches, automation of engineering workflows, and the future of digital transformation in infrastructure projects.
Grab your coffee and join the conversation!
